The thesis on the studying a class of smooth belonging functions to fuzzy sets and its application in recognition systems was defended

Head of department No. 12 of the Institute of Information Technology Madina Saidova presented the report of the department. The thesis on the “Studying a class of smooth belonging functions to fuzzy sets and its application in recognition systems” was defended, and the thesis on the "Development of methods to create modern e-library network" is at the final phase of defense, she noted.

Demo-version of "Exlibris" Alephino Library Management System was applied for 3-months, and as the key requirements were met an agreement was signed to purchase a full license, M.Saidova added.

The institute is subscribed to "IEEE Computer Society Digital Library", "Computer" and "IEEE Spectrum," journals for one-year, and MyComputer (in Big Data, Data Analysis, and Cloud) service is now available, she reported.

The resources of the library are classified by the US Congress Library classification system, and processed physically, their upload to the system and their safety are ensured, she mentioned.

She also reported about the participation at the scientific and technical conferences, workshops and symposia, publication of articles in scientific journals, and publications and electronic versions of books.

Some suggestions and recommendations were expressed.
