E Ink revealed the world's first e-paper printer

E Ink Holdings has announced JustPrintIt technology for reusable printing on digital screens. Electronic ink displays will be used as paper for a special printer. According to the developers, it is impossible to fake such a document.

EPaper e-paper is a compact digital display the size of a bank card that does not contain smart electronics. Using a special printer that supports JustPrintIt, you can repeatedly apply various images to it. The service life of such media is about 1000 cycles of "printing".

Unlike smartphones and tablets, digital recording cannot be hacked: you can update the image only using proprietary equipment, and such a display does not contain electronic components or software. In the future, printable electronic paper may find application as identification documents, transport or reusable gift cards.

The novelty will be presented at the Touch Taiwan technology exhibition on August 28.
