Reason for the interruption of Internet service announced

On July 23, 2019, at 11:46, as a result of the work that was carried out at the points of connection of the global Internet provider Level 3 and the organization GEANT,  by the staff of these organizations,,on the line of the AzScienceNet network, coming from the GEANT,  a break  occurred. As a result, there was a break in the provision of Internet services to a number of organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, including the administrative building of the Presidium of ANAS. The problem that arose during the night was immediately detected by AzScienceNet staff, after which the relevant organizations were aware of this.
