The next scientific seminar of the Department №18 of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was held. The scientific seminar was devoted to the topic "Application of technology analysis sentiment to improve the effectiveness of advertising marketing in the Internet environment."

The report was presented by a specialist of the department Kamala Hashimova. She said that sentiment analysis, which is a method of generating and removing subjective information from various online sources, is an automatic use and preparation of natural language.

She spoke about the Fear & Greed index, saying that the cryptocurrency collects data about the mood of sellers, analyzes the emotions and thoughts from different sources daily and expresses them in numbers.

K.Gashimov informed about the methods of determining mood. She spoke about the concept of the “emotional-psychological approach” of Keith Othlin, a professor at the University of Toronto, and the approach proposed by Russian psychophysiologist, biophysicist, academician Pavel Simonov.
