Swedes have created electronics to help drunk and poor car drivers

The Swedes have created electronics to help drunk and poor car drivers Volvo Cars car company has developed a security system that can save drunk and inattentive drivers from accidents.

According to the press release of the company, it is a system of built-in cameras and other sensors that control the behavior of the person behind the wheel. When the driver begins to ignore the signals of the car, informing about the possibility of an accident, there is automatic activation of the system assistants. These include, in particular, a reduction in speed (up to a complete stop of the car), automatic parking in a safe place, and alert the emergency services through Volvo on Call. The systems are triggered if the sensors record the absence of steering, driving off the track, a sharp wagging from the lane to the lane, the driver’s eyes closed or his reaction to the traffic situation is too slow.

Cameras equipped with all models of Volvo, built on the platform SPA2. The first such cars will appear in 2020. The number of cameras and their location in the cabin is not yet specified.
