Integration of intellectual game technologies into the informatics teaching analyzed

At the meeting of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, the report of the Training Innovation Center for 2018 was discussed.  Head of center Rasmiyya Mahmudova presented the report and informed about scientific research work.

She noted that thesis on  “Development of methods and algorithms for assessing the person’s information culture’’ was defended and said that research was underway in this direction.

Research on "Analysis of Integration of Intelligent Gaming Technologies in Teaching Informatics" was carried out, she noted. R.Makhmudova noted that the proposals for solving some problems in the teaching of informatics by using educational games, intellectual tests and the analysis of the pedagogical and psychological aspects of integration of intellectual games in the teaching of informatics.

The speaker spoke about the work done in the direction of "Problems of Gesture Informatics". Development trends and problems of gesture language, methods of recognizing typical gestures and analysis of synthesis of facial expressions in various emotional states.

R.Makhmudova spoke about the work done in the field of  "Informatics" teaching for Ph.D. students and the organization of examinations, as well as for the distance learning, consultations, and exams for Ph.D. students who live in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Ganja city and surrounding areas.

She also informed about scientific and pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities of the department, the continuation of international scientific cooperation, promotion of scientific-practical results in mass-media etc.

The exchange of views on the report was held, and many questions were answered. By the decision of the scientific board, the department report was considered satisfactory.
