Latvian startup Aerones presented a UAV, which in the future will replace industrial climbers for window cleaning.
Reportedly, the drone cleaner has 12 motors that allow it to rise to a height of up to 350 meters. The weight of the device - 55 kg, width - three meters. The operation of the UAV using cameras controls the operator on the ground. The device is powered by a ground battery to which the UAV is connected with a cable.
Aerones engineers also took care of safety. The startup has developed its own stabilization system, thanks to which the drone can work even in windy weather. In addition, from falling on the heads of passers-by, the drone is insured by a cable fixed on the roof of the building.
Aerones claim that their UAVs wash windows 20 times faster than industrial climbers, and can also do it at any time of the day.
In this case, the device is capable of performing other tasks. For example, to clean the wind from frost.
In another video, a startup showed how their drones can be used to extinguish fires. The site Aerones indicated that, unlike the fire truck, which allows you to extinguish fires at an altitude of 70 meters, the "fire modification" of the aircraft can rise to a height of 300 meters.
