The employee of the institute won the 3rd place in chess competitions among women

On October 10, at ANAS, chess (women and men) competitions were held within the II Spartakiada, organized by the Academy's Free Trade Union. Chess competitions were conducted on both groups of both women and men.

According to the results of chess competitions among women, an employee of the Institute of Information Technology Nargiz Ismayilova won the final stage.

The final matches of chess competitions were held on October 12. Participants in the final group games - Ilaha Mammadova (Institute of Physics), Ziyaret Pashayeva, Afina Aliyeva (Institute of Petrochemical Processes), Xanim Rzazadeh (Institute of Geography), Sevinj Aliyeva (Institute of Linguistics) and Nargiz Ismayilova (Institute of  Information Technology) continued the fight by a circular method.

According to the results of the competition, employee of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes Ziyarat Pashayeva, the first employee of the Institute of Linguistics Sevinj Aliyeva and the employee of the Institute of Information Technology Nargiz Ismayilova took the third place.

It should be noted that within the framework of the Spartakiad, besides chess, football, draughts and table tennis competitions are being held.
