The Institute of Information Technology of ANAS held a meeting with admitted to Master's and PhD degree of the organization for the 2018/2019 academic year.
The event was attended by academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Rasim Alguliyev, deputy director on technology of the institute, PhD in technical sciences Rashid Alakbarov, scientific secretary of the institute Medina Saidova and head of Education Department, PhD in technical sciences Farhad Yusifov.
Academician Rasim Alguliyev welcomed master’s and PhD students and wished them success in the new academic year. Speaking about the master of education in the Institute for the third year, the scientist gave information about the competition for the Master's Degree in 2018/2019. He said that in the current year there are 6 specializations on "249178 - Computer Engineering", "249186 - Information Security and Security", "249161 - Computer Systems and Networks Software", "249291 - Computer Systems and Networks".
In the current year, three PhD theses have been received on 1203.01 - "Computer science" 3338.01 - "Systematic analysis, management and information processing", 3339.01 - "Information security systems and systems, information security", scientist noted.
R. Alguliyev emphasized that all conditions were created at the institute for the effective organization of scientific work of young cadres. Working independently with each of the master’s and PhD students studying at the institution, creating opportunities for them to carry out scientific research at the international level would ensure the quality of the educational process which are the main factors, he noted.
The director of the institute emphasized that the institution would acquire profound knowledge on the specialties of young people admitted to the master’s and PhD studies, will be employed during their education, as well as create conditions for their internship in the world's prestigious scientific-research institutions.
The academician also emphasized the importance of involving masters in English language courses organized in the organization to improve foreign language skills.
Finally, discussions were held, questions were answered for master’s and PhD students.
