Facebook builds satellites to distribute the Internet

Facebook, which previously refused to design and manufacture Aquila unmanned vehicles, did not abandon the initiative to provide Internet access to hard-to-reach corners of the Earth. The company confirmed that they are working on a new Internet satellite Athena ("Athena"), but they have nothing to say about this project yet.

The satellite industry is attracting increasing attention of private companies.
