The head of the department was elected as a member of the program committee of the international conference

Professor Masuma Mammadova, Head of Department of the Institute of Information Technology, corresponding member of ANAS, was elected as a member of the program committee of the VI International Conference on Computer Processing of Turkic Languages (TurkLang 2018).

The main directions of the event, which will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on October 18-20, 2018, include: formal models for Turkish languages, national localization and terminology of computer systems, electronic corps of Turkisc languages, morphological and syntactic processing of texts, speech recognition and synthesis systems, machine translation systems, intellectual systems and technologies for studying Turkic languages, linguistic ontologies for Turkic languages and so on.
