Google Play has audiobooks section

Google announced the launch of an audiobook section in the Google Play online store. They are available in 45 countries and in nine languages, including Russian.

You can listen to books on Android, iOS, Home, Chromecast, or Google Play Books. At the moment, the integration of audiobooks with Google Assistant voice assistant is available for English.

You do not need to subscribe, on Google Play you can buy audiobooks one by one. Before buying, you are invited to listen to a free introductory excerpt of the book.
