In China, developed a virtual doctor based on artificial intelligence

The Guangzhou Medical Center for Women and Children has developed a virtual doctor called "Bear cub Mimu" based on artificial intelligence. The virtual doctor has studied about 2 million case histories and by now can diagnose 32 types of disease, while the accuracy factor of diagnosis of 24 types of diseases exceeds 90%.

It is possible to consult the "Bear cub Mima" with a smartphone or computer, belta.by reports. To do this, you need to click on that part of the body "Bear cub" that causes problems, and choose the symptoms. Then the virtual doctor puts a preliminary diagnosis and gives advice on how to go to the hospital. The developers released two versions of the "Bear cub Mimu": a patient-accessible and specialized for use by hospital staff.

According to the head of the clinical data department of the Guangzhou Medical Center for Women and Children of Liang Huiyin, currently the "Bear cub" is at the stage of practice, during the work he is assisted by a real doctor at the hospital. After the program has established the symptoms of patients, the doctor evaluates the data received by the program online by clicking the buttons "True", "Medium" or "Invalid".
