Transparent "smart" windows have been created

American scientists have proposed a new technology for creating a glass that is totally transparent or slammed into the sunshine.

There are currently "smart" windows that can be changed, and some passengers can change the transparency of their illuminators by pushing the button on some of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner air crafts, “ICTnews”  e-News Service reports 

Such solutions are possible as a result of the use of special gel made of the glass bottles. Transmission of electricity gives a dynamic change. On the other hand, this approach is fairly expensive, and transition to transparent conditions takes about 20 minutes. The gel loses its properties over time.

For this reason, scientists from Stanford University, USA, under the leadership of Michael McGee, offered a completely new technology. "Smart" windows have the ability to switch from transparent to solid state and vice versa within 1 minute. This bottle is made of platinum nanocarrier and is made of electrically conductive and transparent indium oxide-tin combined with copper ion sources.

According to scientists, the operating prototype in the laboratory has gone from one to five to five times without any degradation.
