The corner of the Institute of Information Technology was demonstrated at General Meeting of of ANAS

On April 28, 2016,  General Meeting devoted to the scientific and scientific-organizational activities was held  at the main building of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. First of all, the participants of the event got acquainted with  the exhibition  reflecting  scientific achievements of institutes and research institutions of  academy.

Then, Corner of the Institute of Information Technology was demonstrated  at the exhibition.

Head of the Academy of Public Administration , Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, the President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh, rector of the Baku branch of Moscow State University after Lomonosov,  Corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Nargiz Pashayeva, chairman of the State Examination Center Board of Directors Maleyka Abbaszadeh, co-chairman of the Society of England-Azerbaijan and the head of the Research Center of Azerbaijan Studies of Caucasus after Nizami Ganjevi under Oxford University from the Azerbaijani side,  professor Robert Hoyland and other participants got acquainted with  corner.

Academician-secretary of ANAS, director of the Institute of Information Technology, academic Rasim Alguliyev informed about books, magazines and brochures, scientific articles published in impact factor journals  reflecting the  results of  researches in the direction of Data Mining and Big Data technologies, information security, cloud technologies, biometric technologies, computer networks, software engineering, wiki-environment research, e- state-building, e-science and e-medicine problems, information economy, science and terminology.

As a result of research conducted by the colleagues of the institute in 2016, 180 theses, 72 articles were published in international and national conferences, in prestigious journals,  the scholar expressed. 30 colleagues of the institute were represented in the editorial board of the prestigious international journal. As well as,  review was given to 40 article sent by 16 journal. The Institute was represented program committee of 12 international conference  and  review was given to 36-thesis by colleagues.
