Do you still think that thousands of people work in Chinese postal sorting? Well, maybe some companies do, but at a large courier company Shentong they were replaced by smart robots. They move lightly across the territory, sorting up to 200,000 parcels per day.
Bots, not knowing fatigue, work in 24/7 mode and independently go to the charging station, when the energy resource is running out - the time for food and sleep they do not require. As the company explains, bots are 70% more effective than people-sorters cope with their tasks. In this they are helped not only by castors, but also by the built-in barcode scanner, which recognizes the purpose of the postal item.
