Spoke on "Technology for automatic construction of semantic networks of terms of industry" at a seminar on International Mother Language Day, Chief of Sector of Institute of Information Technology Afruz Gurbanova briefed on the results of research in this direction, determining the strength of semantic relations between the terms of the subject field.
A.Gurbanova noted that, it is important recognition of the text semantic relationships between terms. Thus, by these terms describes the semantic structure. Semantic relationship - it is the association that exists between words, expressions and meanings of sentences.
The speaker stressed the importance of considering the relationship between the terms provided by the subject industry in the development of terminological system: "Under the terminological system means the combination of structured term and a complex system of semantic relationships between terms. Description of the terms of the system is closely linked to the classification of terms and relations between them".
According to her, several difficult classifications of terms and the relations are known. More detailed and exact classifications are directed to system of information search and revealed as result of association of logical and philosophical researches.
"Technological approach to the organization and implementation of educational process demands development of the methods and models allowing automation of process of intellectual processing of scientific and educational text information"- speaker noted and told about results of the researches conducted in this direction. She reported that the analysis of texts of the methodical training materials used in educational process of higher education institutions is carried out use of ontologic modeling in creation of the tools supporting educational process is proved the relations between concepts of subject branch are considered.
Sector chief noted that the application of the ontological approach provides an analysis of the subject industry, the choice of its concepts, the definition of the relationship between these concepts, mathematical description of the logical result of the rules based on these relationships. A.Gurbanova also elaborated on the issues regarding the benefits of using semantic networks in automatic text processing.
The speaker brought to the attention that the method makes it possible to automate the structuring of semantic relations in the formation of concepts and terms based on natural language laws, making possible a clear picture of the structure of the machine concepts in the industry. It was noted that, automation of building the semantic networks of terms can be used when creating a corporate knowledge base.
