The opportunities of mobile computing clouds discussed

A next scientific seminar of No. 4 department of Institute of Information Technology was held. Deputy Director of the institute , PhD, Associate Professor Rashid Alakbarov said that the seminar was dedicated to the problems and current state of mobile computing clouds.

Colleague of institute Oktay Alakbarov delivered a report on subject "Mobile Cloud Computing: current status, opportunities and challenges".  He said that mobile computing clouds is a new network technology that connects computing clouds to its services  over the Internet with the help of mobile devices and  provides  access to its services.

He presented the dynamics of the existing mobile equipment based on different indicators. Also, O. Alakbarov gave information about mobile equipment,  the dynamics of Internet users and  development of Internet-connected mobile equipment, Internet-connected computer devices, 1-month Internet traffic of smart phones, distribution  graphic of operating systems used in mobile equipment.

Also, he spoke about distribution graphic of content used daily by mobile users, architecture of  mobile Internet, the dynamics of growth of mobile cloud services users, architecture of  mobile cloud computing system, services  used in mobile cloud computing and small computing clouds – Cloudlet.

Speaking about the advantages of mobile computing clouds reporter noted that  the extension of working batteries of cloud computing mobile devices, computing power and increasing memory capacity,  storing data in spare computers allow to improve reliability.

Cloud Computing has been widely applied in areas such as "Mobile Commerce" and "Mobile HealthCare", "Mobile Learning", " Mobile Gaming", he noted.  He informed about centralized and hierarchical architectured  mobile computing  clouds, as well as, the major criteria of mobile computing clouds.
