Existing standards discussed in the field of software engineering

A regular scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Information Technology.

Today, setting up productive environment for the development of software engineering, to  increase the interest of IT professionals to in this field, exchange of experience and knowledge in this field are the most important issues,  ANAS Academician-Secretary, Director of the Institute of Information Technology, Academician Rasim Alguliyev. Along training of the necessary knowledge, as well as, training existing  standards in this field, publication  of books and ,textbooks  in Azerbaijani language aassume great deal of importance,  he noted.

Colleague of institute Konul Aliyeva delivered a report  on subject "Standards  used in Software engineering". Methods of computer science and mathematics have been  applied to solve the software problems profitable, she  said.

The first standard on software engineering was applied in 1979. This standard determines quality characteristics of software engineering.  In 1995, ISO / IEC 12207 - Software Lifecycle Processes  was developed to provide information about the software development processes , she said. She also informed about "SE2014", "Computing Curricula 2013", "GSwE2009" standards.

K. Aliyeva gave detailed information about  the system's life cycle standards, management standards,  as well as, general indicators, software life cycle management processes, standards for document processing  and assessing the quality of software systems .
