The institute conducts the study of non-verbal communication

The first World Deaf Society was founded in 1951. At the suggestion of the society every year since 1958, the last Sunday of September has been celebrated as the International Day of the Deaf. This year, this day is celebrated on September 25.

An employee of the Training Innovation Center of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS Kamala Gurbanova provided detailed information on the investigation of non-verbal communication at the scientific seminar of the department.

First, the speaker gave detailed information about the non-verbal communication - sign language, its use, explanation of the “gesture”, facial expressions, a combination of head and body movements. Gestures reflect the emotional approach of human speech. Speaking about the role of the gesture in the mutual understanding, the speaker spoke about the available 2 different approaches (based on the humanities and social and natural sciences) to non-verbal communication method.
