Half a million web-sites closed over the last month

There were just over 919.5 million websites in the beginning of March - half a million less than in February Netcraft analysts report. Significant reduction, according to experts, is due to the next media "cleansing", tens of millions of websites closed. 

Apache continues to hold a leading position in the global market - about 38.6% of all sites worked on it early March. The closest competitor, i.e. Microsoft IIS holds 31.1% market share, but its share decreased by 1.69% compared to February. The share of NGINX web server is 15.56% now, the Google server’s share is 2.28% (-0.02% compared to February)…
