National Terminological Information System establishing

As it is known, the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS works on the establishment of National Terminological Information System (NTIS). Head of sector of Institute informed about works done in this direction.

The implementations have been carried out within the framework of the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on “State Program on the use of Azerbaijani language in the context of globalization, in accordance with the requirements of the times and the development of linguists in the country” noted A.Gurbanova.  The concept of the National Terminology Information System and the structure of the web-portal have been worked out, she stated. Currently, the web-portal is being designed and software works are going on, she reported.
