The Republican Scientific-Practical Conference on Artificial Intelligence: Challenges, Problems and Perspectives to be held

In May, the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS will host the Republican scientific-practical conference on "Artificial Intelligence: Challenges, Problems and Perspectives", dedicated to May 17 - World Telecommunication and Information Society Day.

Today, at the meeting of the Scientific Board of the Institute, Vice-President of ANAS, director of the Institute, academician Rasim Alguliyev said that artificial intelligence is one of the main trends of the 4th industrial revolution. According to the scientist, this technology has a number of socio-economic problems that need to be researched.

He underlined the importance of turning every employee of the institute into forerunner of an artificial intellectual ideology and importance of research on the general philosophical bases of artificial intelligence.
