Reason for the interruption of Internet service announced

On July 12, 2019, at 02:13, as a result of work that was carried out at the points of connection of the global Internet provider Level 3 and GEANT, by the staff of these organizatons, on the line of the AzScienceNet network, coming from the GEANT,  a break  occured. As a result, there was a break in the provision of Internet services to a number of organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, including the administrative building of the Presidium of ANAS. The problem  was immediately detected by AzScienceNet staff, after which the relevant organizations were aware of this. As a result, the malfunction was repaired on the same day at 12:06.
