On April 29, 2015, the Annual General Assembly of ANAS was held at the Presidium of ANAS dedicated to the scientific and scientific-organizational activity of ANAS for 2014.

the head of the Presidential Administration of the Azerbaijan Republic, Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, the head of the Humanitarian Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, Dr. sc. Fatma Abdullazadeh, corresponding members of ANAS, directors of institutes and organizations of ANAS, and others participated in the event.

First the participants got familiar with the exhibition, which reflected scientific achievements of the institutes and research institutions of ANAS.

The stand reflecting the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS provided the information about the achievements in the field of "Data Mining" and "Big Data" technology, information security, cloud technologies, biometric technologies, information and communication technology, sensor and ad hoc networks, linguistic information technology, software engineering, e-waste problem, audio information technology, artificial intelligence and socio technologies, intelligent information systems, information technology in education, wiki environment, the challenges of building e-government, e-science problems, e-medicine problems, information economy, the Internet and other multidisciplinary issues.

The results of the scientific research works, books, magazines and booklets, scientific articles published in journals with impact factor were reflected at the stand.
