On March 13, Distance Education Centre (DEC) of the Training Innovation Center (TIC) of the Institute of Information Technology (IIT) of ANAS held the training for teachers of computer science in Ganja secondary schools to prepare for "VIII Project Olympiad in Informatics".

Note that, the DEC developed by IIT in Ganja Department of ANAS has become an Educational and Science bridge between Baku and Ganja. DEC provides distance education for post-graduates, joint trainings and online conferences between the institutions in Ganja, as well as international and national cooperation with the scientists.

The event was held to inform about the VIII Project Olympiad in Informatics among schools in the country, which will be held in April, by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Qafqaz University, "Istek" lyceum, the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS and the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS.
