Head of the Department No. 10 of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS PhD Firudin Aghayev gave detailed information on the planned activities for the current year. According to him, the department staff will conduct researches on information society and information technology, the management of e-education and its methodological bases, the essence and formation of e-education environment, cloud technology in e-education, Big data issues, and so on.

Mathematical operations would be applied for the comparative analysis of the educational programs on ICT field, as well as the software would be applied in the adjustment of the educational standards with the international ones for universities, he mentioned.

According to Mr. Aghayev, the staff of the department is planning to take part in the distant lectures in Informatics delivered to doctoral students and teaching staff of Nakhchivan and Ganja Branches; as well as new grant projects will be submitted to competitions.

"This year, 5 theses are planned to be submitted to national and international conferences, and 5 articles to be published in well-known scientific journals" - he said.

Mr. Aghayev spoke of the international scientific cooperation planned to be established with the Institute of Informatics Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Education Informatization of Moscow State Humanitarian University after Sholokhov, Ufa State Aviation Technical University, UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education in the reporting year.
