The volume of laptop market rose by 10%

DisplaySearch analysts have noticed a drop in sales of tablet PCs, which caused the risen demand for laptops. The largest manufacturer of portable PC is now Lenovo.

In the third quarter of 2014 the volume of global notebook market totaled 49.6 million units, increasing by 10%. While delivery of "tablets" decreased by 8%, Quarterly Mobile PC Shipment and Forecast Report reads.
