Department No. 17 of the Institute of Information Technology held scientific seminar, November 6. The employees of the department, doctoral students attended the event.

PhD student of the institute Rahid Alakbarli made speech on "InternetScopy: current state, problems and perspectives". He gave detailed information about the history, spotlight of the scientists all over the world and the approaches offered by them. He spoke about the impact of the Internet expansion in the social life of the people, industry, government agencies, and other areas, and about the current problems in this area.

Then the director of the institute, acad. Rasim Alguliyev pointed out the importance of InternetScopy and noted that the study of this area would contribute to the determination of the status of each country in the global arena, as well as to the improvement of the information security, and the development of the economy.

Perspectives of InternetScopy, centralized management capabilities in the Internet, dynamic data collection and analysis were discussed, questions, and suggestions were expressed.
