Assembly of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was held. The event was opened by the Director of the Institute, academician secretary of ANAS, acad. Rasim Alguliyev. He informed about the issues on the agenda and stated on the reports of the structural units of the institute for 2014 outcomes. The goal of the recent reforms of ANAS, as in all research institutions, is to strengthen the research and theoretical activity, he said.

In this regard, the task of each department is to detect actual problems, to conduct researches and publish their acknowledgements in prestigious journals.

Structural departments shall submit their annual reports by the end of November, and participation of all institute’s fellows shall be provided.

Scientist urged the importance of international cooperation and strengthening the research activities of the institute’s departments, and emphasized the great potential of the institute in the field of information society building.

Besides, admission to the doctoral courses for 2014, AzScienceNet perfec tion, presentation of the candidates for the "President's Award for Youth", preparation for the 1^st Republic Scientific-practical Conference on "E-government construction problems" and other issues were discussed.

Finally, the issues were reviewed, questions and suggestions were expressed.
