The Action Plan of the Training Innovation Center of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS for the year 2020 was discussed. The head of the center, Rasmiyya Mahmudova delivered the plan. She noted that it is planned to conduct research on the research of scientific-theoretical problems of the formation of information technologies and information society and the development of effective methods.

She also noted that research on gesture informatics, goals, and technologies, analysis of the integration of intelligent gaming technologies into teaching computer science, networking courses at Cisco Networking Academy and other international courses would be carried out. 

R.Mahmudova also noted the advantages, disadvantages of gesture recording techniques and technologies in these areas, as well as their analysis of systems and methods of automatic recognition.

Works on holding the Republican Olympiad on Informatics among high school students in 2020, organization and certification of IT-courses for employees of enterprises and organizations, as well as the organization of the entrance examinations of Ph.D. students and the establishment of the Cisco Networking Academy at the Institute will continue.

The speaker noted that a number of measures will be implemented in the current year for the next stage of the "State Program for the Development of Information Society in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2016-2020".

She also informed about the upcoming work in the direction of scientific-pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities, the participation of department's staff in international and national conferences, publication of scientific articles in prestigious journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, promotion of scientific and practical results in the media.
