"Today, the energy, ICT, biotechnology, medicine can be the priority areas for young scientists", said Akif Alizadeh, president of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

At present, young scientists have great opportunities to conduct research,  and during last 2-3 years the institutes, academic organizations and other educational institutions of the academy have been equipped with new facilities, Mr.Alizadeh noted.

"This is a major opportunity for young scientists" - said the scientist. Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences often has different motivating projects for young scientists: "At the same time, the academy will present a number of special awards for young scientists whose articles published in the scientific journals with impact factor. In this regard, ANAS will announce a contest at the expense of the budget. We are pleased to motivate the young scientists."
