A device called “Lexilight,” designed for people suffering from dyslexia, is presented January 09, 2020 | 09:03 / Technological innovations

At the CES 2020 technology fair, a device called the Lexilight was designed for people with dyslexia. This is a disease in which people experience serious reading problems.

When trying to read a text, people with dyslexia see letters that are blurry or mirrored, which makes reading a lot more difficult or even impossible. The exact causes of dyslexia have not yet been established, but the problem, as representatives of the French startup Lexilight are confident, can be solved to some extent using new technologies.

How Does a Lexilight Lamp Help People With Dyslexia Read? Very simple, if not brilliant - the LEDs of the lamp pulsate with an adjustable frequency, so that the brain can absorb information presented in text form with higher efficiency. Individual adjustment of the pulsation frequency is carried out thanks to a convenient control knob.

According to planet-today.ru, testing, which was attended by three hundred people, showed that the device really improves the ability to read with dyslexia. The cost of an innovative device that can simplify the lives of millions of people is five hundred and fifty euros. The developers of the gadget, at the same time, promise to return money to those who do not help the Lexilight lamp.
