The Samsung company announced the creation of an artificial person, which is actually a realistic avatar. The development was carried out as part of the Neon project and is expected to be presented at the CES 2020 Electronics Exhibition. It is reported that the innovation can be applied both within the business, for example, as an administrator or guide, and in entertainment projects.

According to planet-today.ru, information on the implementation of the project was provided by the leading specialist of the Neon project, Indian scientist Pranav Mistri in his Twitter post. “The code is finally working and ready for the demo version of CORE R3. Now he can autonomously control his facial expressions, move, talk (even in Hindi), regardless of the source data, ”the scientist wrote.

In addition, he published an image of a developed avatar. And although they were soon removed, they already managed to spread on the network. At the same time, it can be noted that artificial people do not look like ordinary computer animation, but are quite realistic.

It is hard to say how well-created avatars will express adequate emotions. Nevertheless, it can be noted that the new development of the company is a huge step forward.

According to the developers, such digital people can become the main technology in the coming years and be effectively used in various sectors of everyday life.
