Xiaomi's assortment has replenished with a new gadget - Qingping Bluetooth Alarm Clock appeared on the vendor’s crowdfunding platform. In addition to performing its primary function, the device can control other home appliances. Other features of the new items are minimalistic design and affordable price.

In addition to an LCD display for displaying time, a new product called Qingping Bluetooth is equipped with temperature and humidity sensors, as well as a Bluetooth module for synchronization with other devices of the smart home ecosystem. For example, if the room temperature drops below 20 degrees, the alarm clock can turn on the heater itself.

There are no physical buttons on the device’s case - to silence the alarm for 10 minutes, just press the case once, or turn off the repeated signal by double-clicking. You can control the gadget settings using a proprietary mobile application that allows you to select one of 8 tunes and adjust the sound volume.

According to  4pda.ru, the brightness of the display backlight is automatically adjusted according to the schedule - from 10 pm to 7 am it decreases by 50%. To measure the temperature, a Swiss Sensirion sensor with an accuracy of ± 0.2 degrees and a humidity sensor with an accuracy of ± 2% are used.

The novelty is already available for pre-order on the Xiaomi crowdfunding platform, sales of the smart alarm clock will begin on January 14, 2020.
