Babak Nabiyev, Head of International Relations Department of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, was awarded honorary title and badge "Professional Young of the Year" by the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan.

He was awarded for his special achievements in labor, education and social activities.

In 2008 he started his career at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS and began to deal with the monitoring of computer networks and information security. 

In 2018 he defended his thesis on “Development of methods and algorithms for synthesis of the Intellectual Network Security Intelligence Monitoring System”

B.Nabiyev is actively involved in the establishment and development of "Monitoring and Security System" at the ANAS Internet network, the establishment of the infrastructure of the corporate network "AzScienceNet" and the creation of Information Security Incident Response Team in the Internet network of ANAS (AzScienceCERT).
