2^nd Baku Forum of Economic Think-Tank of Economic Cooperation OMS  and 2^nd International Conference on Energy, Regional Integration and Socio-Economic Development was held, October 1-3, 2014. The organizers of the event are the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), the Ministry of Economy and Industry of AR, the Ministry of Research Institute of Economic Reforms and "EcoMod Network" company.

The Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev, President of the National Academy of Sciences Akif Alizadeh, ECO Secretary General Shamil Alasgarov and others made speeches at the opening ceremony.

The event was attended by the heads of the economic think-tanks of the member countries, and the scientists from 21 countries, and 200 papers were submitted from 26 countries.

Head of the department of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, PhD in economics, Associate Prof. Alovsat Aliyev, senior research Roza Shahverdiyeva and research fellow Aybaniz Aliyeva attended the conference.

A. Aliyev made a report on the "Statistical analysis of the state of the art of ICT by means of a multifactor regression model", R.Sahverdiyeva on the “Economic and mathematical modeling of management decision-making on the improving innovation efficiency of the enterprises”, and A.Aliyeva on the "Development of the monitoring system for the analysis and evaluation of the development rate of information economy".
