The AI chessboard has learned how to move pieces by itself - just like in Harry Potter November 06, 2019 | 11:34 / Technological innovations

Startup Infivention introduced a chessboard with artificial intelligence, which itself moves the pieces. The device will allow the player to play against a neural network or with an opponent from any part of the world, writes New Atlas with reference to the message of the company.

The board is available in two forms - Neo and Swap. In the first version, it is a standardized grid of squares of size 64 × 64, each about 3.8 cm in size, with the highest figure - the king - measuring 6.3 cm. The figures in this embodiment are available in ebony or stone.

Swap is a grid with a lot of squares - you can also play checkers on it. AI in both versions has 30 difficulty levels and automatically adjusts difficulty according to the skills of a human player.

Now the company is raising money to release the first batch on Kickstarter - board prices start at $ 149.

Earlier, Gameboard startup released the Gameboard-1 desktop game console, which can be used as a field for board games.
