The first university in the world to teach the specialty Artificial Intelligence has been established in Abu Dhabi. The opening of a higher education institution called Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence is scheduled for August 2020.

MBZUAI will accept students, representatives of business and government companies involved in the development of artificial intelligence technologies for training. The university is expected to provide students with access to the industry’s most advanced knowledge and best practices.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University was Minister of State Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber. The board also included professors from the universities of Oxford, Michigan, Massachusetts and Beijing. It is worth recalling that by 2030 the contribution of artificial intelligence technologies to the world economy will reach US $ 16 trillion, their share in the UAE's GDP will be 14%.
