The practical session of the 31st International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2019), which will be held in Azerbaijan from 4 to 11 August 2019, has begun. Competitors and team leaders were sent an email to access the practice session. Participants of the Olympiad can gain experience by solving practical problems in practice.ioi2019.az. The practical session will be open to users until August 4th.

In addition, in the near future will be available to schedule a real rating. This assessment system will be used during IOI 2019. Therefore, all participants must solve existing practical problems using this system.

Note that Azerbaijan was represented 24 times at the International Olympiad in Informatics. In total, 55 Azerbaijani schoolchildren took part in this competition. Our students won five medals, one silver and four bronze medals.
