One of the issues discussed at the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was related to holding a Republican scientific-practical conference on "Multidisciplinary problems of personal data security" at the end of the current year.

Speaking about this, department head, Ph.D. in technical sciences, associate professor Yadigar Imamverdiyev said that the emergence of new technologies and the protection of personal data in the background of the digitization of the economy are topical issues in the modern age. Illegal access to personal information and the use of personal data has been encountered widely in recent years.  He noted that  Internet, especially social networks, expanded access to personal information.  Y. Imamverdiev stressed the importance of studying the theoretical, legal, ethical aspects of problems, international practice in this area and managing them.

Stressing the importance of holding a conference in the context of these problems, the scientist informed the participants about the main topics of the conference.
