Today, the next meeting of the Scientific Board was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. Vice-President of ANAS, Director of the Institute, Academician Rasim Aliguliyev, opening the event, brought to the attention issues on the agenda

Head of the General Department of the Institute Dinara Zeynalova gave information on the implementation of assignments given to the staff of the Institute. She presented information on the work done, such as the organization of scientific seminars on various problems, the presentation and publication of articles in international and republican scientific journals and scientific conferences, the current status of Ph.D. theses and other tasks.

Then academician Rasim Aliguliyev spoke about the innovative proposals of the structural divisions of the Institute for 2019.

Speaking about the organization of hosting services in AzScienceNet, the institute's researcher, programmer Yusif Sadiyev gave detailed information about web resources hosted by AzScienceNet's Data Centers and the Special State Protection Service, as well as statistics of web resources hosted on these Data Centers web servers.

Then, the head of the Rasmiyya Mahmudova Institute's Training and Innovation Center gave information about the results of the final stage of the All-Republican Olympiad in Informatics among university students.

Organizers of the event held on a regular basis since 2007 are the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, she stressed. 

Zarifa Jabrayilova, the Senior Researcher of the Institute, Ph.D. in engineering, Chief Editor of Problems of Information Technologies journal, gave information on the work done to improve the scientific and practical journals Problems of Information Technologies and Problems of the Information Society.
