Lenovo introduced the world's first 5G laptop May 27, 2019 | 05:15 / Technological innovations

At Computex 2019, which is held in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, Lenovo and Qualcomm presented the world's first laptop with support for fifth-generation networks.
The laptop, called Project Limitless, runs Snapdragon 8cx, the first platform on a 7-nanometer PC process technology. The system includes an eight-core Kryo 495 main processor and an Adreno 680 graphics core. In addition, it is equipped with a modem with support for fifth-generation cellular networks (5G). It provides up to 7 Gbit / s peak speed and up to 3 Gbit / s for receiving and transmitting data.

According to Lenovo, connecting a laptop to 5G will allow owners to experience the best user experience: speed up file transfer, improve streaming video in 4K, 8K, and even using virtual reality technology. In short, enjoy all the functions of a desktop computer without connecting to Wi-Fi. It sounds great, but it seems that it will take a long time to fully deploy 5G networks.

However, the release of the laptop is scheduled for the beginning of 2020 by companies.
