Official portal of ANAS www.science.gov.az and website of the Institute of Information Technology www.ict.az were discussed at the presidium of ANAS.

Director of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, academician-secretary, acad. Rasim Alguliyev first talked about the existing challenges of www.science.gov.az ago and www.ict.az. science.gov.az is a part of the information policy of the government, stressed the academician and noted the need for meeting the modern requirements. He recommended holding a workshop for the organization of journalists, reconstruction of the media policy of science.gov.az.

Referring to the speech of the head of the Presidential Administration, acad. Ramiz Mehdiyev on the information security, R.Alguliyev mentioned some  serious problems of modern national media, as spread of information contrary to the interest of Azerbaijan, non-professionalism, impartial information dissemination.

Existing problems related to the new version of the website was ict.az were also touched upon, which include a high level of information security, highlighting the most recent innovations in ICT in the country and all over the world.

Afterward, the head of Department of Information Technology Gulnara Nabibayova presented the work and existing problems of the new versions of science.az and ict.az. She informed about the updates of the information about the structures and staff of ANAS, as well as planned future implementations.

InfoTv and ElmTv, which broadcast online important scientific events of ANAS and the institutes must be advanced, the human potential to be strengthened, he stressed; and suggestions and recommendations were performed at the end.
