Experts called the most unreliable passwords for accounts on the Internet April 26, 2019 | 04:50 / Interesting information

Specialists from the UK National Cyber Security Center have compiled a list of the most unreliable passwords for Internet accounts. This was reported on the official portal of the center.

During the study, experts analyzed public databases with information about 100 thousand passwords. It is their hackers who have repeatedly used to hack other people's accounts.

It was found that 23 million users prefer to set the combination of numbers "123456" as a password - this password topped the rating of the most unreliable passwords. The second line of the rating went to the combination “123456789” - it was chosen by 7.7 million people. The qwerty combination closes the top three - this was set by 3.8 million people, according to 360 TV channel.

The fourth and fifth lines in popularity were taken by password and "1111111" with a score of 3.6 and 3.1 million, respectively.

Experts note that many Internet users also prefer to specify their names as a password, encrypt the names of football clubs and music bands. Such data is easy to guess, so experts do not recommend using them to protect accounts. On the contrary, it is best to set a password made up of three unrelated words. Such passwords to outsiders will be almost impossible to guess, writes NSN.

On April 19, it was reported that Facebook management had admitted to storing passwords from accounts of several million Instagram users on open access.
