As known, along with the scientific-research institutes of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, large-scale measures are being implemented to use the services of AzScienceNet and its Data Center, which is a technological platform for electronic science in the country and has great opportunities for integration of the country's scientific and educational institutions.

At present, implementation of Wi-Fi, Cloud Computing, Cloud Storage, Hosting, Eduroam, IP Telephony, LOLA multiservice information service, operative information, e-library, e-mail, distance education, etc.  is underway to create opportunities for use of services.

Therefore, the network infrastructure of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics has been connected to the National Eduroam Server, located at the Data Center of AzScienceNet Science-Computer Network. At this university, Wi-Fi and Eduroam services were also implemented. 

This service enables the university’s staff to use world-class technologies and services through AzScienceNet.

Eduroam (education roaming) service provided by GEANT is an international roaming service that provides secure and free access to Internet, researchers, teachers and students. Users joining this service will have easy, free and secure access to the Internet while across the country and abroad. 

 Note that at present works are being carried out in the other higher educational institutions of the country.
