According to the Decree of the President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh dated January 24, 2019 "On the practice of students studying in SABAH groups at scientific institutes of ANAS”, students of Baku State University are expected to do practical work at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. For this purpose, a meeting was held with the 3rd year students of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of BSU studying “Computer Science” and who is currently doing research practice at the institute.

Academician-secretary of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliyev, corresponding member of ANAS, doctor of technical sciences Ramiz Aliguliyev, scientific secretary of the institute Madina Saidova, head of Education Department, Ph.D. in technical sciences Farhad Yusifov attended the meeting. 

Firstly, academician R. Alguliyev gave information about the main directions of activity of the institute. Important measures are being taken on the integration of science and education in ANAS.

In recent years, the organization of master’s degree at the academy's scientific institutions, including at the Institute of Information Technology has created great opportunities for young researchers.

Thereafter, students informed about the results of research they conducted in web technologies, text mining, data science, Big Data and other areas.

The director of the institute answered students' questions and wished them success in their future activities.
