The next scientific seminar of Department № 3 was held at the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. 

Opening the event, the head of the department, Tahmasib Fataliyev, said that the seminar was dedicated to the topic of "Citizen science: security problems and solution ways".

Nargiz Verdiyeva, the employee of the department, who presented the report, informed about the features of citizen science, inclusivity in citizen science, classification of security problems and ways to ensure security.

She informed about the provision of inclusiveness in the field of citizen science and noted that these issues were discussed at the international conference of the European Citizen Science Association (ECSA) held in Berlin in 2016.

She gave information on the work done to ensure inclusiveness for people with disabilities.  In the USA, people with disabilities have created the conditions for their participation in the field of science and education, N. Verdiyeva noted

Then N. Verdiyeva gave detailed information about the “BudBurst” project, which provides for security issues, organizations implementing information security policies, and children's security. She also gave information about the work done in this area in the "iNaturalist" and "eButterfly", site Citsci.org projects.

The speaker noted that at the initiative of the European Citizen Science Association, 10 principles of citizen science were announced, and two of them were devoted to inclusiveness in citizen science, and two other issues to security issues.

In the end, views on presentation were exchanged and questions were answered.
