At the meeting of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, the report of the department No.13 for 2018 was discussed. The corresponding member of ANAS, doctor of Sciences Ramiz Aliguliyev presented the report and gave detailed information about the scientific researches carried out in the department.

21 articles of department’s staff in the journal and conference materials indexed by WoS and Scopus, 11 articles were published in other indexed journals in other international scientific bases (DBLP, EBSCO, ACM, Google Scholar, etc.), 4 articles in review in journals indexed at WoS, he noted.

The scientist also informed about the scientific metrics of the department headed by him. According to him, the works of the department's employees have been cited 425 this year, 2109 in the last 5 years, and 3124 in general.

He also gave information about the participation of department staff in national and international conferences, publication of scientific articles in prestigious journals recommended by the AR High Attestation Commission, scientific and pedagogical and scientific-organizational activities of the department, the continuation of international scientific cooperation, promotion of scientific-practical results in mass-media etc.

The exchange of views on the report was held, and many questions were answered. By the decision of the scientific board, the department report was considered satisfactory.
