Microsoft has released Office 2019 for Windows and Mac September 27, 2018 | 04:11 / Interesting information

On September 24, Microsoft officially announced the release of Office 2019 for computers running Windows and Mac. A message about this appeared in the blog of Microsoft.

The package includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as server versions of Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business. The Windows version also includes the Project, Visio, Access, and Publisher applications.

As noted in Microsoft, Office 2019 received a number of updates that were previously implemented in the Office 365 cloud service. In particular, this is about the “cinematic” presentations of PowerPoint, a new translator in Word and funnel-shaped charts and charts with a map in Excel.

Recall, back in February, Microsoft reported that Office 2019 will not receive support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 operating systems and will only work on a Windows 10 PC. This means that users who want to install the new version of Office will have to update their PC up to Windows 10. This solution was explained by Microsoft with the intention to encourage corporate customers to subscribe to the Office 365 cloud service.

Office 2019 is already available for corporate customers of Microsoft, and other users will be able to install it in the coming weeks.
